Trial and Evaluation of Roundtable Methodology and Flashlight Programme
The Trial and Evaluation of the Roundtable Methodology and Flashlight Program Project finished in May 2002. It has now produced documentation to support the use of the Roundtable approach in UK higher and further education.
Executive Summary
The material is aimed to be fully adaptable to the needs of individual institutions, whilst still providing a structured guide to setting up and supporting a Roundtable. The Project has also produced a report based on its readings undertaken in relation to the evaluation of the Flashlight Program, specifically Flashlight Online. Use of Flashlight Online continues and notably UKC have decided to continue the Project subscription to the toolkit. Amongst the surveys created during this last reporting period, one has been designed for use by TechDis, who have been commissioned to produce a report on the accessibility of Flashlight Online. The Project has provided the opportunity to build links with the TLTG, notably Dr Steve Ehrmann and Dr Steve Gilbert, and it is intended that this will continue. In our dissemination events there has been considerable interest throughout the sectors to the Roundtable approach and the Project Team will continue this dissemination over the next few months.
