Enterprise architecture is a strategic approach designed to help senior managers achieve agile and successful organisational change. No prior knowledge of enterprise architecture or technical skill is required, just a desire to improve your managerial effectiveness.

The benefits of using enterprise architecture can be substantial, for example providing the information needed to:

  • redesign business processes to be better, faster and cheaper
  • deliver organisational change more quickly and cheaply
  • undertake options appraisal and impact analysis
  • avoid unnecessary costs by making better decisions
  • cut costs and future proof your infrastructure by adopting open and/or industry standards
  • reduce data duplication and redundancy
  • optimise the balance of in-house and out-sourced/shared service activities
  • plan your technology replacement/updating effectively
