Closure of National Cache Service

An important announcement regarding the JANET Web Cache Service.

The Jisc would like to advise institutions that the National Cache Service will be closed down on TUESDAY 3rd DECEMBER 2002.  This decision has been taken by the Jisc following extensive consultation with the user community by UKERNA earlier this year.  Sites are requested to stop peering with the JWCS before the 15th November.  The JWCS staff will be available for advice and consultation throughout this transition period.
