Invitation to tender: Metadata and Interoperability Projects

The Jisc invites proposals to undertake projects that help to develop interoperability between publishers and aggregators and the Jisc Information Environment (IE). The Joint Information Systems Committee (Jisc), working closely with the Publishers and Library/Learning Solutions (PALS) Metadata and Interoperability Group, intends to fund a number of Metadata and Interoperability projects to highlight and explore the issues surrounding the adoption of metadata standards by publishers for their electronic publications.

The deadline for proposals is noon on 7th April 2003. Further details are available in the funding opportunities section.
