On Thursday 2 April, the ‘What is the library of the future?’ debate at Oxford’s Bodleian Library will mark the end of JISC’s Libraries of the Future awareness-raising campaign.

This campaign has considered the issues facing actual and virtual libraries, as we edge deeper into the digital age. Event hosts Malcolm Read (Executive Secretary of JISC) and the Bodleian’s librarian and director Dr Sarah Thomas will be joined by an international panel of high-profile speakers, who will take questions from invited guests and members of the public on any issues facing our libraries today, and the ramifications for the future.
