ticTOCS. Search less. Get more. Stay current.
Over 2,000 subscribers have signed up for JISC’s new ticTOCs service, mere weeks after its launch, and over 80 bloggers are already singing its praises.

ticTOCSs (Journal Table of Contents Service) is a free, JISC-funded service that makes it easier to keep up-to-date with scholarly journals. It conveniently gathers together the contents pages of over 11,000 journals, online, to save precious hours in the library or scrabbling around different portals to find the required information. It will raise your journal current awareness and searching efficiency in minutes.
This useful site has already received coverage from over 80 bloggers including PAFA.NET, and its welcome arrival has been noted in publications including Research Information, EContent Magazine and Information Today, as well as on wire services such as VIP Wire.
The site has received an impressive five-figure number of visitors to date, and over two thousand subscribers have already registered for the free and time-saving MyTOCS service.
ticTOCs has been developed by an international consortium consisting of the University of Liverpool Library (lead), Heriot-Watt University, CrossRef, ProQuest, Emerald, RefWorks, MIMAS, Cranfield University, Institute of Physics, SAGE Publishers, Inderscience Publishers, DOAJ (Directory of Open Access Journals), Open J-Gate, and Intute.
