JISC announces support for Guardian HE Summit
Event: The Guardian Higher Education Summit 2009
Date: 2-3 February 2009
Venue: QEII Conference Centre, London
JISC today announced its support for The Guardian Higher Education Summit 2009: Choices Beyond 2010. Arrangements for one of the year's most significant gatherings of HE leaders and decision makers are gathering pace, with the key speakers and event partners now in place.
The Higher Education Summit has established itself as one of the UK's largest discussion and networking events for HE leaders and senior managers. Dr Malcolm Read, Executive Secretary of JISC, will be addressing the summit as part of a panel discussion on the future of HE in a changing global climate on the morning of day one of the summit, which takes place on 2 and 3 February 2009 at the QEII Conference Centre in London.
The summit will include contributions from leading national and international commentators on the key strategic challenges facing HE institutions. It will also provide excellent networking opportunities and will allow delegates to compare their institutions with the best in the world and hear how others are tackling the global dilemmas facing the sector.
The 2009 summit sees the addition of a series of management masterclasses focusing on the key challenges to top-level managers in a stratified HE sector.
