JISC and the Association for Learning Technology (ALT) will today (September 10th 2008)strengthen their successful working relationship by signing a new two year memorandum of understanding (MOU) at ALT’s annual conference.

JISC and the Association for Learning Technology (ALT) will today (10 September 2008) strengthen their successful working relationship by signing a new two year memorandum of understanding (MOU) at ALT’s annual conference.

Dr. Malcolm Read, executive secretary at JISC and Seb Schmoller chief executive at ALT, will sign the new MOU, which builds upon several years of collaboration.

Dr Read said, “This memorandum of understanding demonstrates our commitment to collaboration and innovation in exploiting the potential of technology across the UK education and research communities.

“We are looking forward to working with ALT to be able to help broaden expertise and knowledge across the learning technology communities, both in the UK and internationally.”
 
Seb Schmoller chief executive at ALT said, “This agreement not only enables us to share and disseminate best practice in learning technology, but will also help inform the national and international policy agendas.”
