Invitation issued to help develop the JISC website

As part of a continual review of its website, JISC is investigating the tailoring of its web content to the needs of specific communities. This will have the benefit of providing easy access to key information and resources.

An invitation has been issued to users of the JISC website to help form three ‘expert panels’. As a member of one of the panels, you will be invited to attend a focus group session to discuss your interaction with the JISC website, to discuss what you want from the JISC website, what tasks and goals you are trying to achieve, and so on.

We would like to hear from you if you belong to one of the communities given below, use the JISC website regularly, would like to be a part of a panel and are available on the dates given. All travel, accommodation and expenses will be paid for.

Kerry Down, JISC Web Editor, said: ‘It’s vital that the JISC website reflects the needs of those who use it and these consultation events will help ensure that the needs of some of our key users will be paramount in our future developments of the site. We hope that as many people as possible come forward to take part and let us know what they think.’

Please register your interest in taking part by completing our short questionnaire, which will help us to structure the panels.
