Ros Smith, author of the JISC publication Designing Spaces for Effective Learning, and speaker at the event, says that the conference, which has traditionally focussed on ICT in the schools sector, will be a good opportunity for practitioners and others across sectors to learn about each others’ needs and perspectives: ‘Much of what we do has application across sectors,’ she says, ‘ and so we have a great deal we can learn from each other. This conference will be an excellent chance for us to reach people from a wide range of educational contexts.’

BETT runs from the 10th to the 13th January. Further details are available from: BETT
