JISC infoNet has been showcased as part of a series of Web TV programmes made for this year's AoC conference. The short films, shown at the AoC conference, are now available to view on the AoCtv website. Showcasing the wide range of activities undertaken by the JISC-funded service, the JISC infoNet segment includes examples of its work with colleges and universities.

Appearing on the programme is Dr Gill Ferrell, Director of the Service, who explains why it was founded: "It was recognised there was a need for colleges and universities to have advice and guidance on using ICT," she says. "We have a range of resources on our web site. What's special about our model is that it's based on good practice that's been tried and tested within the sector."
