The JISC wishes to commission a review of the Resource Discovery Network (RDN).

The RDN is a JISC funded service for the FE and HE sectors.  It is a network of hubs providing subject based on-line catalogues of freely available quality assured internet resources that are applicable to learning, teaching and research.

The aim of the review is to evaluate the service provision, governance structure, technical infrastructure, cost effectiveness and relationship with the development programme for the JISC Information Environment.  The review will also make recommendations on requirements for future service provision, organisational and technical infrastructure, asset management and economic effectiveness.

The deadline for submission is 12 noon on Friday 9 May 2003.  A full Invitation to Tender for this review can be found in the funding opportunities section.
