Referencing JISC’s work
To assess the value and impact of JISC's work it is important that JISC is properly referenced in reports, articles and other documents.
When referencing JISC for the first time within a report, article or other document, please use JISC and not 'Joint Information Systems Committee (JISC)'. Please also include a link to our website http://www.jisc.ac.uk.
In the absence of a referencing system being used by authors, the Harvard Referencing System should be used when referencing JISC publications and multi-media sources. Online versions should always include a web link and the date it was accessed.
The plagiarismadvice.org website provides some excellent guides on referencing, including an animated referencing guide produced by the University of the West of England.
