This is one of the most popular and easy to set up RSS feed readers. It is simple to use, set up and reliable. The notifications feeds come into your inbox as a list and can be easily scrolled through, highlighted and deleted.

Good for: A beginner getting to grips with RSS feeds through to a confident user who is looking to tags and labels

Sporting chance: how I engage my community-based learners through technology

Can technology work on the sports field? As Olympic fever gathers pace, we visited a national community organisation which uses sport to train and support 16-25 year-olds. The 2nd Chance Project, a customer of JISC’s regional support centre in the South West, supports those not in education, employment or training and who may lack aspiration or opportunity, or may be coming out of custody.

In this video Maggy Blagrove – director of learning and skills at the 2nd Chance Project – speaks to JISC Inform about how she engages her learners through technology, and how social media can inspire both the student and the tutor.
