The JISC, on behalf of the Strategic Content Alliance (SCA) invites tenders to create a syllabus of open digital resources and related training courses. This syllabus is intended to foster the development of a new generation of “digital entrepreneurs” within institutions and organisations who can support the long term sustainability and exploitation of cultural, educational and not-for-profit digital content.

The syllabus development will include the initial scoping, testing, evaluation and deployment of a set of training course(s) and open digital resources that reflect and meet the needs of participants. The syllabus may be composed of a variety of one day workshops, multi-day short courses, webinars, customised institutional consultancy, open and reusable digital resources (learning objects) or other open approaches.

The deadline for tenders is 12 noon UK time on Monday 17 October 2011. The final work under this contract should be completed by Friday 31^st July 2012.
