JISC ITT: Systematic review of JANET(UK)
The JISC invites suitably qualified individuals or organisations to undertake a systematic review of JANET(UK), based on the recommendations of a recent independent Review of JISC (the Wilson Review), which was commissioned by HEFCE.
The aims of the review are to:
- Examine whether JANET(UK) continues to offer value for money and can meet current and future network related needs of the UK’s education and research community over a timescale of the next 5 - 10 years.
- Determine whether the technical solutions that JANET(UK) are planning will meet the future needs of the research and education communities, in the context of likely technical, commercial and funding developments.
