JISC invites tenders to conduct a study to investigate how applications which use semantic technologies can add value to learning and teaching.

The report and outputs should be made accessible in a range of digestible formats such as topic maps, briefing papers, small screen capture videos, guides or del.icio.us tagged resources, and should be delivered to JISC by end February 2009.

Up to £40,000 (including VAT and expenses) is available for the study over a 6-month period starting as soon as possible and no later than 1 September 2008.

The deadline for submission of tenders is no later than 12:00 noon on Monday 14 July 2008
