JISC, on behalf of the Strategic Content Alliance (SCA), invites tenders to develop, install and test a pilot demonstrator called BBC UK CenturyShare.  The pilot demonstrator will ingest and store content references with BBC and other providers in the public sector, with a search and browse interface permitting users to request content based on dates, date pattens (or trends), the origin of the source and/or name of the collection resource.  In addition, the demonstrator should be able to link to collection level records held in the Information Environment Service Register

The work must start no later than the week commencing 18 August 2008 and conclude by March 2009

Funding of up to £83,900 is available for this piece of work including all expenses and VAT.
