JISC ITT: Landscape Study of Student Lifecycle Relationship Management
JISC invites proposals to undertake a landscape study to investigate the different strands of activities, approaches and use of ICT systems that support student recruitment, retention and on-going engagement whilst within institutions and throughout subsequent alumni interactions. This study will explore both UK further (FE) and higher education (HE) sector and international experiences in this area, define the stakeholder community and determine their key concerns.
The main deliverables from this study will be:
i. A report describing the current state of student relationship management policies and activities, including an appraisal of how ICT is being used to support processes, at each stage of the student lifecycle;
ii. Source material and stakeholder analysis for the development of comprehensive, targeted advice and guidance to the sector;
iii. Recommendations to help focus future JISC activities in this area.
Funding of up to £50,000 including VAT and all related travel and subsistence expenses is available for this project. The deadline for proposals is 12.00 noon on Wednesday 5 March 2008.
