JISC ITT: Study on identity management for lifelong learning in UK higher and further education
JISC invites tenders to conduct a study to describe current practice and envision future processes in identity management for lifelong learning in UK higher and further education. The aim of this study is to aid understanding of the challenges facing the education sector in identity management for lifelong learning, and to support JISC in future planning in this area.
The main deliverables of the study are:
- set of use cases or other appropriate documentation describing current and future processes
- report on issues facing the sector in moving from current to envisaged processes
- report with recommendations for future work
Up to £40,000 (including VAT and expenses) is available for the study over a 6-month period starting in May 2008. The deadline for submission of tenders is no later than 12:00 noon on 2 April 2008
