JISC invites tenders to undertake a project to examine and make recommendations on the role and career development of data scientists, the associated supply of specialist data curation skills to the research community, including an assessment of the value and potential of extending data handling, curation and preservation skills within undergraduate and postgraduate curricula. The work will be for 6 and half months beginning in mid January 2008. Tenders should be submitted no later than 13:00 on Thursday 20 December 2007
