Circular 4/07: Reuse of learning content
JISC invites institutions to submit funding proposals for projects to re-use learning content; that is projects to develop, run and quality assure technology enhanced courses using reused and repurposed learning materials sourced externally to their institution. Projects will be expected to construct or ‘revamp’ a module delivered largely via electronic means documenting the issues faced in developing and running the course in a case study.
The intended outcomes of this work are:
- To stimulate and inform change in the sector through enhanced capacity, knowledge and skills around the use of information and communications technology to support learning and teaching
- High quality external learning content used more often:
- To facilitate the transfer of learning content between institutions, repositories and external web 2.0 content storage
- Case studies documenting the cultural issues regarding the sharing of content
The deadline for receipt of proposals in response to this call is 12:00 noon on Friday 30 November 2007.
