This Invitation To Tender invites proposals to undertake the scoping and development of a JISC Information Environment Test Bed that can demonstrate the vision of the Information Environment (IE), and that will enable JISC projects and other interested stakeholders to test and demonstrate interoperability with the JISC Information Environment.

Funding of up to £150,000 (inclusive of VAT and related travel and subsistence) is available for this project. The funding figure referred to in this Invitation To Tender excludes any potential JISC contribution to the full economic costs of this project.

The project is expected to commence no later than 30 October for a period of 16 months to end at the end of February 2008. At the end of the project, requirements for any further work will be reviewed by JISC.
