Scenario planning workshops and develop scenario planning tools to support the JISC User Environments programme

JISC wishes to invite proposals from an individual consultant or consultants to provide expert support to the JISC User Environments programme team to plan, develop and deliver an innovative series of scenario planning exercises based on education, research, technology and users. These exercises will be delivered in conjunction with the User Environments programme team to a wide variety of JISC stakeholders as a series of one-day workshops.

The purpose of the workshops is to:

  • develop an understanding of scenario planning techniques
  • further develop the User Environments programme Stakeholders understanding of future education, research and technology scenarios as a basis for considering more deeply a range of possible user needs

The expected start date of this work is the 1 August 2006. This work should take place over a 4 month period, with workshops being held between August and November. The deadline for receipt of tenders is 1300 hrs on Friday 21 July 2006. Funding of up to £25,000 (inclusive of VAT and related travel and subsistence) is available for this work.
