JISC has issued a Request for Proposals for Digitisation Projects as part of the JISC Capital Programme. This Request for Proposals is aimed primarily at enabling access, use and re-use through the digitisation of analogue collections for learning, teaching and research. It is envisaged that a small number of large scale projects with a minimum budget allocation of £500,000 will be funded through this programme. However, this guideline should not discourage proposals from highly significant educational and research collections that may require funding at a lower level. Proposals may be submitted by an institution, organisation or consortia with collections of significant value to higher education and research in England and Wales.
