The JISC invites tender proposals to consult with stakeholders within Higher Education on the acceptability of the EThOS model for a sustainable, national service to ensure long term open access to electronic PhD theses. The consultation study should assess this in the context of other potential models. The output of the consultation will be a clear set of recommendations that will enable JISC and other stakeholders to set up a service that is acceptable to the Higher Education community.

JISC invites tender proposals to consult with stakeholders within Higher Education on the acceptability of the EThOS  model for a sustainable, national service to ensure long term open  access to electronic PhD theses. The consultation study should assess this in the context of other potential models. The output of the consultation will be a clear set of recommendations that will enable JISC and other stakeholders to set up a service that is acceptable to the Higher Education community.

Funding of up to £20,000 including VAT is available for this study.
