ITT: Study to define a framework for deposit of sensitive & clinical recordings
JISC invites proposals to explore possible models and develop an agreed framework for clinical recordings deposit and access, including exploring the potential for a user-driven service.
An Invitation to Tender (ITT) issued in parallel with this invites proposals to undertake a scoping study to define the feasibility of creating a network of community based image archives within the context of further and higher education.
The deposit of clinical recordings for educational use poses significant legal and ethical challenges and is therefore the focus of a separate study to be carried out in partnership with stakeholders from the NHS.
It is intended that these two studies run in parallel and that the successful bidders, if different, will need to work closely together in order to synchronise their findings and recommendations as appropriate.
Funding of up to £25,000 including VAT and expenses is available for this study.
This ITT should be read in conjunction with community image collections ITT mentioned above which provides the main background and context for this study.
