JISC invites tenders to conduct a formative evaluation of its Virtual Research Environments programme. The aims of the evaluation are to assess, as the programme proceeds, how effectively the selected projects are meeting the aims of the programme; to identify common themes between projects where these exist; to identify gaps in the work currently being undertaken; and to contribute to raising awareness of the programme and stimulating discussion on Virtual Research Environments in the community.
