ITT: Case studies of effective and innovative practice in e-assessment

Joint funding of up to £60,000 (including VAT and expenses) is available from JISC and the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA) for the development of case studies of effective and innovative practice in e-assessment in the 4-19, post-16 and HE sectors. The case studies will identify the challenges and benefits of e-assessment, together with the institutional, operational and pedagogic enablers and barriers to effective use of  ICT in assessment.

The studies will be aimed primarily at practitioners in the 4-19, post-16 and HE sectors but are expected to be of value to other key stakeholders, including funding and regulatory bodies, strategic partners and examining boards.

The project should commence as soon as possible after 23 May 2005.
