This invitation to tender invites proposals to undertake a number of studies related to scholarly communications on behalf of the Joint Information Systems Committee (JISC).

JISC ITT: Scholarly Communications studies

This invitation to tender invites proposals to undertake a number of studies related to scholarly communications on behalf of  JISC.

 

There are four studies JISC wishes to commission:

  1. Terms of Reference: Guide on Scholarly Publishing Trends
  2. Terms of Reference: Learned Society Open Access Business Models
  3. Terms of Reference: Disciplinary Differences and Needs
  4. Terms of Reference: Open Access Citation Information

Up to £20,000 is available for the first study, and up to £30,000 for studies 2), 3) and 4). This funding includes any expenses and applicable VAT. Projects should begin by the beginning of April 2005 at the latest and complete by Monday 4 July 2005.
