ITT: UK HE e-theses test-bed project
Proposals are invited to undertake a test-bed implementation project to deliver an infrastructure to support the deposit, access and use of research theses for the UK Higher Education (HE) sector. The project will take place over 16-18 months.
Funding of up to £200,000 including VAT is available for the project. There is no commitment to any further funding beyond the project period. However an independent evaluation of the project will be commissioned separately to run in parallel to the project during its final four months and to assess options and viability for the future.
It is envisaged that bidders will be notified of the outcome of the evaluation process by the end of November 2004. The project should commence in January 2005.
