JISC

JISC invites further and higher education institutions to submit funding proposals to create demonstrator Service Oriented Architectures utilising the JISC e-Learning technical framework. The service integration components developed during this activity will be made available to the educational community in the form of open source software toolkits.
As a general guideline it is anticipated that most projects will be awarded funding of between £30,000 and 50,000 depending on the extent and complexity of the work involved. 

Successful projects will commence on Thursday 10 May 2004, with submission of the final work on 29 October 2004.
