JISC ITT: IE Sustainability study
Common services and digital infrastructure
JISC is seeking to commission a study that examines sustainability of the digital environment within the further and higher education sector.
The study will be taken forward with particular reference to developments within the JISC Information Environment (IE), in particular, looking at the the Information Environment service registry (IESR) and the Join – up article infrastructure projects. Recommendations on potential service and business models that support the distributed digital environment are sought.
Funding of up to £30,000 (including VAT and expenses) is available for this study. The work should commence on Monday 5 April 2004 or as soon as possible thereafter and must be completed by Friday 16 July 2004.
