Research study on the effectiveness of resources, tools and support services used by practitioners in designing and delivering e-learning activities

JISC is seeking to commission a research study on the effectiveness of different resources, tools and support services, used by practitioners in designing and delivering e-learning activities. The study will be carried out under the e-Learning Pedagogies programme.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate practitioner needs in relation to the application of e-learning pedagogy and expertise. The outcomes of this work will be used to inform the design of a series of practitioner-focused resources, drawing on the findings of the overall e-Learning Pedagogies programme.

This initial study will form the basis of an iterative development cycle extending over the programme’s lifetime. Validation of the study outcomes through consultation with user groups is a key requirement.

Any queries regarding this tender, should be sent to Sarah Knight, Programme Manager.
