Learning on Screen Conference 2011
As student fees increase and institution budgets are cut, the need to meet and exceed student learning expectations, without increasing costs, is of paramount importance.
Flexible approaches to teaching and learning, alongside the knowledge and understanding of how to find, use and produce content to create informative and captivating lessons, is key to success both in HE and FE.
The Learning on Screen Conference will focus on the importance and benefits of using moving image and sound in education. Sessions will explore:
-
using moving image and sound to improve teaching and learning
-
meeting student expectations
-
content – finding it and using it effectively
-
production – designing successful educational media
-
controlling and reducing costs.
