This year’s Jisc conference programme will be built on the theme of
Supporting Education and Research. We are pleased to announce that Dr Liz
Beaty, Director of Learning and Teaching, HEFCE and Clifford Lynch,
Executive Director, Coalition for Networked Information will be the
conference keynote speakers. The conference will reflect the breadth of
Jisc activities in providing guidance, advice and
opportunities for the use of Information and Communications Technology
(ICT) in education and research. 

Delegates will be given opportunities to learn about the full range of
Jisc’s work by participating in seminars, debates, workshops and
demonstrations.  In the exhibition area, a range of Jisc services as
well as corporate companies, agencies and associations will be able to
provide you with advice and guidance on a range of support and resources
available to your institution.

Audience

This one day event will be of interest to all those in post 16 and
higher education and research involved in planning for and supporting the
use of ICT, including:

  • Senior managers and those responsible for developing and implementing
    policy and strategy
  • Staff who play a role in supporting the use of ICT in educational
    organisations, including practitioners 
  • Staff with responsibility for e-resources within their institution
  • Teachers and researchers with an interest in the use of ICT

Registration

REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED. For all booking enquiries,

Unfortunately due to limited places, consultants will not be allowed to
register for the conference.

Please note that we reserve the right to limit the number of people
attending from each organisation. There is no fee for attending the
conference, however please note we reserve the right to charge a fee of £50
to no-shows.  All cancellations must be received within five working
days.

Accommodation

Jisc has negotiated rates at several hotels for Monday 13 March
2006.
