This year’s Jisc CETIS conference will explore the benefits and realities to universities and colleges of adopting open strategies and approaches.
For over a decade CETIS and Jisc have been promoting the open agenda through a number of programmes and activities including; open educational resources, open standards, open data and open software. This year’s CETIS conference will explore the benefits and realities to universities and colleges of adopting open strategies and approaches.

There will also be a workshop from the WidG@t project and the launch of the Relationship Management Compendium of Good Practice.
The conference will include keynote presentations from:
- Josie Fraser , ICT Strategy Lead (Children's Capital) at Leicester City Council
- Patrick McAndrew , Professor of Open Education in the Institute of Educational Technology (IET) at the Open University.
