The British Universities Film & Video Council (BUFVC) is holding a forum to discuss how to raise awareness of the value of using moving image and sound in teaching, learning and research.
- Do you promote the use of moving image and sound within your institution?
- Do you find it difficult to engage students and lecturers to use audiovisual content?
- Are your students concerned about how to reference audiovisual content in their work?
If you answered yes to any of the above, then this event is for you!
What will you get out of the event?
An opportunity to learn about the difficulties many higher and further education institutions face when promoting moving image and sound internally, as well as inspiring success stories from those that are getting results.
The latest news on academic citation for audiovisual content from the academic citation steering group, which forms part of the BUFVC-led Shared Services Project (funded by HEFCE). A full set of guidelines will be released in April 2013.
A space to share your personal experiences and take away some pre-tested ideas to try.
