New and emergent internet business models in updated case studies on sustainability workshop

You are cordially invited to attend a FREE Strategic Content Alliance-Ithaka workshop on new and emergent internet business models featured in an updated case studies in sustainability at JISC meeting rooms in London.

Two years ago, the Strategic Content Alliance commissioned the Ithaka Case Studies in Sustainability (PDF) which explored the techniques and strategies being adopted in the sustainable development of  cultural and educational digital content and collections.

Two tumultuous years have passed since then - How have the projects fared?  Join us to hear from the team at Ithaka S+R, who will share their findings and  highlight creative strategies that digital project leaders are using to continue growing their digital content and collections amidst the specter of funding reductions, new and emergent internet business models and policy reviews.

The session will include a presentation of findings, time for questions and answers, and structured breakout sessions, where delegates will be encouraged to apply lessons learned from the techniques and strategies in the case studies. In advance of the meeting, delegates are being asked to identify the three most serious challenges to the long term success of your project or activity as part of the registration process. This will help steer the work sessions during the afternoon.  The session will close with a recap of highlights learned from the case study updates and from the breakout groups.
