Power of the VHS II - Future of recording TV & radio off-air
Launch of a national VHS initiative - Be the first to hear about the launch of a national off-air register for VHS holdings, led by the BUFVC. The register will provide an economical and comprehensive solution for the preservation of unique and sometimes irreplaceable VHS recordings held by institutions.
Meeting the challenge
A one-day forum to provide solutions and guidance regarding the storage and preservation of VHS recordings, while looking forward to tomorrow’s technology and the future of off-air TV & radio recordings.
The day will provide a unique opportunity to listen to case studies and presentations from leading experts in the field of off-air recording, with the chance to put forward questions and share your experiences with speakers and colleagues.
Delegates don't need to have attended ‘Power of the VHS 1’ to attend this year’s forum. The event will open with a short summary of previous content and discussions, before moving onto the full programme which will build on last year’s.
