6th International Digital Curation Conference
Participation and Practice: Growing the Curation Community through the Data Decade
Digital curation manages, maintains, preserves, and adds value to digital data throughout the lifecycle, reducing threats to long-term value, mitigating the risk of digital obsolescence and enhancing usefulness for research and scholarship.
This year’s 6th International Digital Curation Conference (IDCC) will be presented jointly by the Digital Curation Centre and the Graduate School of Library and Information Science, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and in partnership with the Coalition for Networked Information (CNI)
The Programme Committee will be co-chaired by Kevin Ashley , Director of the Digital Curation Centre, Liz Lyon, Associate Director of the DCC, Allen Renear and Melissa Cragin from the Graduate School of Library and Information Science (GSLIS) at the University of Illinois, Clifford Lynch, Executive Director of the Coalition for Networked Information (CNI).
On 6 December 2010 there will be a programme of workshops, with the main conference taking place on 7 and 8 December 2010.
