The purpose of the session is for 3 ideas to be presented in a 'Dragon's Den' style.
Within the context of change that HE and FE face, immediately due to the economic circumstances, and more broadly the change that policy, technology and new practice promise universities and colleges need to respond. In this session three ‘Big Ideas’ should be presented that offer responses for libraries, learning and research respectively. The ideas aim to be provocative and creative and to focus on how the sector can best meet the aspirations of high quality education and research (on a large scale – institutional / sector level).
How can innovation help meet the changes required within the sector meeting the aspirations of excellence, whilst addressing the issues of effectiveness and efficiency?
