Matthew Woollard is Director-Designate of the UK Data Archive and the Economic and Social Data Service at the University of Essex. Until August he is also Head of Digital Preservation and Systems and in charge of the development, implementation and maintenance of the UK Data Archive's digital preservation policy and the development of vision and policy in the areas of digital curation more generally. Recently he has been instrumental in the development of the information security plans for the Secure Data Service and is responsible for all information security policies and procedures across the UK Data Archive.
