This demo provides an overview of the iSkills tool. It helps practitioners involved with business and community engagement activities identify training opportunities, expertise and service provision available to them. Building upon the AURIL-CPD framework the tool focuses on IT related skills provision, readily available from across the sector.

Virtual Patients the core of the curriculum

St George’s has integrated online interactive virtual Patients into its Problem Based Learning (PBL) medical curriculum using an array of web authoring and web 2.0 tools. This demo will give an overview of the project, show examples of how the cases were created, and which additional tools were used.

Curriculum approval with flexibility and consistency

Key drivers of this project are improved compliance and enhanced pedagogical design. This demonstration will present a pilot expert system for course approval that adopts a data-centric rather than document-centric approach to support greater variation and flexibility while delivering better information for monitoring and greater targeted support to course designers.

Embedding theatre archives in teaching and learning
