UK e-Science All Hands Meeting 2009
The UK e-Science All Hands Meeting provides a meeting place between computing science researchers, researchers from a wide range of discipline domains - as evidenced by this year's Themes - and those who support the combined research. It is interdisciplinary and almost uniquely provides a forum for meetings across boundaries that would otherwise not take place.
JISC is sponsoring the drinks reception at the poster session on Monday 7 December. Join us for a drink and hear William Kilbride, director of the Digital Preservation Coalition set the context for JISC’s new Managing Research Data programme in his talk ‘Let the good times roll: e-Science and the longue durée’. William will encourage poster session participants to think about the lasting impact of their work.
JISC-funded activity is well-represented at All Hands again this year, with a lively programme of talks.
