JISC is sponsoring this year's Times Higher Education Leadership & Management Awards for the category of 'Outstanding ICT Initiative'. The Awards aim to recognise the exceptional business and management skills of those running universities.  The 'Outstanding ICT Initiative' award will be bestowed on the institution that has demonstrated the most impact institution-wide and the potential of the initiative should it be more widely adopted across the sector.

The shortlist of institutions are:

• University of Aberdeen
• Cardiff University
• University of Greenwich
• London South Bank University
• University of Manchester
• University of Oxford

The Award winner will be announced at the THE Leadership & Management Awards gala dinner on 9th June 2009 at the London Hilton Hotel, London.
