Making the most of your physical learning spaces

 

Abstract Based on the findings of a recent JISC study, this workshop will explore innovative approaches to evaluating the use of physical space for learning. The session will include speakers and examples from institutions that have applied these approaches to review the use of existing spaces or to design new learning spaces. Delegates will have the opportunity to discuss the models proposed and to consider the relevance of these in the context of their own institutions.
Aims and objectives
  • Share the key findings from the effective evaluation models and practices for technology-supported physical learning spaces
  • Share examples of practice on how technology-rich physical learning spaces are currently being effectively evaluated
Who should attend? This will be of interest to senior managers with responsibility for learning and teaching, and estates, as well as practitioners and learning resources managers.
