Towards the academic library of the future

Abstract  This session will introduce some of the issues to be explored by the collaborative Horizon Scan initiative to chart the strategic future of libraries and will elicit the views of delegates about some of the key challenges facing the higher education library community, such as the management of institutional assets, research data, infrastructure and shared services. Four short presentations will set out some of the key challenges, after which delegates will be invited to present their own institutional perspectives on these challenges.
