By Rail

The nearest train station is Stoke on Trent which is five miles from the University.  Crewe train station is 12 miles from the university.

By Bus

First Buses operate a number of services from Stoke on Trent station to the university. The number 24 bus runs regularly from the Stoke on Trent station to Keele University. D&G buses operate from Crewe station to the University.

By Road

From North and South M6 Motorway
Exit at junction 16. Take the exit at the roundabout signposted A500 Keele University. At the next two roundabouts take the first exits signposted A531 and A525, Keele. At the next roundabout take the second exit signposted A531 and A525, Keele. Continue along this road through the villages of Betley and Madeley Heath. From here the university is signposted. The Chancellor's Buliding is situated in the centre of Keele Village.

From North and South M1 Motorway
Leave the M1 at junction 23A, and then merge onto the A453 signposted East Midlands, Stoke, Derby. At the roundabout take the first exit onto the A50 signposted Stoke, Derby. Continue forward on the A50 entering Stoke on Trent. Continue forward through the tunnel signposted City Centre, Newcastle. Continue forward on the A50 past the Britannia Stadium signposted Newcastle, M6. At the roundabout take the first exit, and then merge onto Queensway A500. Branch left signposted Newcastle under Lyme, Stoke, then at the next roundabout take the third exit onto Stone Road signposted Newcastle under Lyme. Continue forward onto London Road, A34 entering Newcastle under Lyme. At the Grosvenor roundabout take the second exit on to Lower Street, A34 signposted Congleton. At the next roundabout take the first exit onto Blackfriars Road, A53 signposted Shrewsbury. At the traffic signals turn right onto Blackfriars Road, A519 signposted Whitchurch. At the next traffic signals continue forward onto the A525 signposted Whitchurch. At the roundabout take the second exit onto Keele Road, A525 signposted Whitchurch. At the roundabout take the first exit and follow signs for Keele University. The Chancellor's Building is situated in the centre of Keele Village.

Parking facilities

Complimentary parking is available at the University. If you are going to be driving to the event you will need to complete a parking permit form which you can donwload here. Please complete the form and ensure it is displayed in your car throughout the duration of your stay.

There are parking facilities available throughout the campus for blue badge holders.

The nearest airport is Manchester International which is a 50 minute drive away.  Birmingham International airport is a one hour drive away.

The Chancellor's Building, breakout rooms and Keele hall restaurant are all fully accessible to wheelchair users, via ramps or lift.
Please note that other areas of the University are not fully accessible.
