Innovative Learning with Mobile and Wireless Technology
This free event has been developed for e-learning staff, lecturers and information services staff and is funded and delivered by JISC and the Higher Education Academy and administered by JISC RSC Scotland South & West for the benefit of interested staff from all post-16 institutions and sectors across the UK.
Participants will explore technical, pedagogical and organisational change issues involved in the adoption and implementation of mobile and wireless technologies in an institution. Case studies from two local institutions will provide an insight into current developments in mobile and wireless technologies in education.
Activities for the event will include an element of text messaging so please bring along your mobile phone. Registration will be through the RSC Scotland S&W and we ask all registered participants in advance of the event to confirm your mobile phone number, to assist wtih this activity.

The event is free of charge by non-arrival at the event will result in a penalty fee being charged. Alternatively another person may be substituted from the same institution/organisation as long as the details of the substitute are sent to the RSC.
